Srebreno used to be farmers' and fishermen's village and it was first mentioned in 1272. Found amphorae, urns and coins of Roman emperors are the evidence of the historical life of the area that is today destination of many visitors and the center of modern tourism.
The olfactory landscape with beautiful beaches and secluded bays, a mild climate and abundance of fruits of the earth and the sea was selected an area rich in Dubrovnik nobles who built their palaces and houses and enjoy the peace of summer days.
